Very often a lack of concentration at the wheel can be due to worries and stress as opposed to poor driving skill. We offer specific coaching to help drivers deal with the rigours of daily life when it becomes clear that loss of concentration represents a real driving risk.
Remedies for poor fleet risk are centred mainly around driver training, which does have a behavioural aspect to it. However, in these times of worsening mental health, DriverSure has created alternative strategies to support driver wellbeing that go beyond what is available from driver training.
Linking with specialist partners, DriverSure uses interview techniques to establish whether lack of wellbeing could impact driving safety and where appropriate will introduce the option of coaching sessions with a qualified practitioner in order to help the driver cope with temporary stresses and strains.
The cost of these sessions can be built into the DriverSure package as a standard benefit of the program.
