Vehicle sticker scheme

www.ratethisdriver.co.uk is a “how’s-my-driving” style of vehicle sticker scheme, which is designed to complement the other Driver Sure risk reduction services. Evidence suggests that drivers become more aware and change their driving behaviour for the better when there is a “ratethisdriver” sticker fixed to the rear of their vehicle.

Incidents reported by the public are added to the driver safety record and investigated with the driver. Reports by the public can also be made anonymously. All data collected from this service is included in the calculation of the driver’s overall risk profile.

We expect the sticker scheme to contribute to a fall in accident frequency and we also hope to profile drivers more accurately as a result of feedback under this scheme.

Uniquely, Driver Sure has now integrated a ‘How’s-my-driving-style’ sticker scheme to its risk programs. This is designed to gather even more useful risk data relating to driving style, which further enhances the scope and accuracy of the overall driver risk profile.
