A CONSOLIDATED FLEET RISK SOLUTION FOR BROKERS

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

The Challenge for Fleets

To be effective at reducing claims AND gaining evidence of legal compliance, a battle must be fought on multiple fronts, all at the same time.

Not only does a fleet need to measure risk using several tools, but it also needs to set out safety rules and enforce them. Not only does a fleet need to establish what are non-standard risks, but it also needs to identify them and raise alerts. Not only should a fleet investigate the cause of high risk, but it also needs to treat that cause with appropriate and timely remedies.

These are some of the challenges for fleets and the reason they would welcome more help from their Broker. Fleets have many priorities and risk management often ranks as one of the lowest. However, this is changing due to increased insurance and accident-related costs as well as due to potential legal liabilities for non-compliance.

Why Brokers

Fleet Insurance Brokers occupy an influential position because they are entrusted with the responsibility of renewing the annual fleet policy, and this connects them with senior fleet decision-makers.

Furthermore, Brokers are considered by Fleets as ‘the experts’ when it comes to risk mitigation and legal Compliance.

Brokers should therefore capitalise on their influence with Fleets by offering to manage all aspects of Fleet Risk on behalf of fleet clients and by employing DriverSure as the subcontractor. This is an opportunity to transform best-practice Risk advice given by Brokers, into reality, without the need to invest in extra staff, systems or space.

Services included in the Driversure Fleet Risk Package

How it Works

The main risk-based services Fleets tend to buy, (Licence Checking – Online Assessments – Accident Management – Telematics – e-Module Driver Training) are currently sub-contracted directly to Fleets, however, through this Program, such suppliers become subcontracted to Driversure thus releasing the Fleet from the burden of procurement, payments and portals.

The service is white labelled so it can be delivered in the Broker’s colours. Account Management continues to be delivered by Broker staff. The Risk Management Agreement is between the Fleet and the Broker and all payments under these agreements go to the Broker.

Driversure charges the Broker a flat fee per enrolled driver for all services, which are summarised in the table above.
